This paper presents several cases of unrealized elevated water tank projects in the Czech Republic. It deals with the technical solution of unrealized objects and at the same time presents the reasons why the designers, official bodies or investors led to the search for another solution.

A rainfall simulator is a common laboratory tool for soil erosion research. Typical objective of the rainfall experiments is the evaluation of various factors on soil erosion processes, such as the effect of rainfall intensity, rainfall duration, soil characteristics, soil management, crop residues on the soil surface, plot’s slope and length.
The article provides information on the development of the NAVAROSO expert information system built for the needs of components active in the event of an emergency situation on the water. It provides the cross-linked data needed to quickly obtain information on the possible causes of deterioration in water quality, procedures to determine the type of pollution and estimate its spread in the watercourse.
The Clean Water – a Healthy City: The usability of the existing information collection system to fulfillment of goals
The contribution is part of the Clean Water – a Healthy City project, which deals with the prediction of the possible occurrence of hazardous chemicals during the accidental pollution and floods. Lists the databases that are currently on the subject and with their practical applicability.
This paper reports on the structure of the autonomous station for monitoring artificial gamma activity in surface water bodies for the purposes of emergency preparedness of the Czech Republic. A simple design based on the NaI(Tl) submersible detector powered by a combined solar and wind source has been employed.

The paper deals with the results of measurements of the weirs suitable for measuring small or minimal discharge. The research is focus on determination of the discharge coefficients for low weir heads. The results of measurements for triangular, rectangular and circular weir are present.
The article submits a bibliometric analysis concerning water footprint articles released in the Czech Republic and abroad. The introduction presents the water footprint and its development. For bibliometric analysis of Czech articles, data from the database of Research and Development and Innovation Results (RIV) was used.
