Licence to publish

 

  1. For the purpose of publishing the WORK:

(including but not limited to graphs, figures, tables, artwork, or abstracts submitted with the WORK) in the Vodohospodářské technicko-ekonomické informace (VTEI) journal, the holder of rights to the WORK hereby grants T. G. Masaryk Water Research Institute, Podbabská 2582/30, Prague 6, 160 00, Czech Republic, IČ 00020711 for the entire duration of the rights to the WORK and any extension thereof, a non-exclusive, irrevocable license to publish, reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, store, and translate the WORK in the VTEI journal under license Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) in any language or in any form, format, or medium now known or hereafter developed without limitation throughout the world. In the event that VTEI chooses not to publish the WORK, this license will terminate.

  1. Ownership of the rights to the WORK remains with the authors and rights holders, provided that when reproducing the WORK or extracts from it, they state the first publication of the WORK in VTEI,
  2. Owners of rights have in particular (but not only) the right to:
  3. after publishing the WORK in VTEI, use the entire WORK or its part in compilations or other publications of the author’s own works, use the figures and tables that they created and which are a part of the WORK, and make copies of the entire WORK or its part for the author’s use for a lecture, classroom teaching, or similar use.
  4. publish the WORK (including PDF in VTEI format) on the author’s personal website, institutional repository, or social networks, provided that a link to the article published in VTEI is included.
  5. publish the WORK on preprint servers such as arXiv, provided that the author retains distribution rights to the WORK, the VTEI format files (HTML and PDF) are not published on preprint servers, and that the authors add a link to the WORK in VTEI immediately after its publishing.
  6. The authors warrant that the WORK is the original research of the authors, that all facts it contains are true and accurate, that they do not infringe any copyright, proprietary, or personal right of any third party, and that permissions have been obtained and attached for any parts of the WORK owned or controlled by a third party.
  7. The authors authorize T. G. Masaryk Water Research Institute, p. r. i., to take the steps it deems necessary at its own expense and on behalf of the authors if it believes that a third party is infringing or likely to infringe copyright to the WORK.
  8. In the event that the WORK was created by an employee as part of his/her employment, the license recognizes the employer’s reserved right to make copies of the WORK for its own internal use.

 

This form must be signed by the corresponding author of the WORK. If the WORK is an employee work and the authors’ employer owns the rights, this license for publication must be signed by the author and an authorized representative of the employer. The undersigned authors represent and warrant that they are signing this license as authorized representatives on behalf of all rights holders of the WORK. The undersigned will indemnify TGM WRI and/or its successors against all claims, costs and expenses, including legal claims fees, arising from any breach of this warranty or other statements contained herein.

By sending the manuscript to the editors, the authors (or the person sending the manuscript to the editors) grant the VTEI publisher a non-exclusive license (permission) to publish the paper in printed and electronic form with a license (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0)).
