Professor RNDr. Bohumír Janský, CSc., teaches hydrology in the Undergraduate study program of geography and geography teaching, in the field of environmental protection and in the bachelor program management of natural resources. He provides education in elective courses: oceanography, Latin America (lecture and seminar), management and protection of water and seminars of physical and regional geography for specialization Physical Geography and Geoecology. He regularly participates in the management of field exercises and excursions. He also leads many foreign field trips and expeditions. He is a trainer of bachelor, master and doctoral students in the daily and external study. He graduated from biology-geography at the Faculty of the Charles University in Prague. He continued his studies at the University and obtained the title RNDr. and later CSc. He received two national awards – from Peru and from the Czech Republic. He is a member for example of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History (Instituto Panamericano de Geografía e Historia, Mexico, D.C.), where is a representative for the Czech Republic with observer status. He has extensive publishing activities.
